Vic: Alleged armed bandits quickly arrested
Victorian police have arrested two men who allegedly threatened a service station attendant
with a knife before fleeing with cash.
Spokesman Senior Constable DAVID GAMBLE says the pair burst into the service station
in east suburban Bayswater last night.
The spokesman says one of the men produced a knife and demanded cash from the attendant.
The pair fled with the cash but were arrested a short time later near the service station.
They were remanded in custody at an out of sessions hearing and are due to appear at
Ringwood Magistrates Court today.
